Gardening with Kids
Post Author: Trever

Dallas County ISU Extension presents a new program called Gardening with Kids! Gardening is a great way for children to learn about biology and environmental science. They learn responsibility by taking care of plants and gain a sense of achievement by growing their own vegetables for their family. As a bonus, children who garden are more likely to make healthier eating choices! Come to this one-hour class on Thursday, April 20th @ 6:30 pm and come away with free ISU Extension gardening instructions and a host of children’s garden activity ideas. Please contact the library to reserve your spot!
